Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers different room sizes, some with views but may require upgrades. It could be worth opting for a pricier room. The service, although friendly, seemed understaffed in reception. The location is cozy with two open fires and comfy chairs, suitable for exploring the area. The dining experience had favorites but lacked some items. The facilities are decent.
The hotel offers a lovely setting with bright and airy rooms, though slightly dated for the price. The friendly service and beautiful location overlooking Bantry Bay make it a truly enjoyable stay.
What a delightful stay! The room with the special plate of chocolate and fresh raspberries to celebrate our anniversary was cozy and offered a nice view. Being on the same floor as our friends made it even more enjoyable. We had a fantastic time exploring the area and indulging in a splendid meal at the restaurant. The staff couldn't have been more attentive, adding a personal touch to our stay. Ending the day sitting by the roaring fire, playing our guitar, was the perfect cherry on top!
The hotel was a fantastic choice for a short stay, offering newly renovated rooms with a huge bathroom and a stunning view of the sea. The service was outstanding, with canapes and sparkling wine provided, making for a delightful experience. The location was great, overlooking the bay and providing a cozy ambiance with blazing log fires. The dining was lovely, with table service and a nice dining area. Overall, a beautiful hotel worth a visit.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the recent decoration made them look pristine. However, the forest view room overlooking the kitchen area caused some noise issues, especially at night.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The room I stayed in, a triple bay room, was extremely shabby and basic, including the hallways, although it was impeccably clean and very comfortable. The hotel's location was excellent, near the sea and providing great views, but unfortunately, my car was involved in an accident in the hotel's car park. The service was friendly, especially during check out, and efficient at catering to guests' needs. Dining was satisfactory, but the service hours could be extended slightly. Overall, a stay with ups and downs.
